MICROBE 1st project year reporting

MICROBE has successfully finalised the reporting related to the activities of the first project year 1. 

The project progress review indicated complete satisfaction with the project implementation and progress made. 

The related public deliverable of reporting period1 are:

Guidance on microbiome sample accessioning
Inventory of currently available standards/guidelines/best practices for microbiome sample pre-analytics

The related deliverables of the reporting period 2 (18 months, Feb. 2024 - July 2025) will be made available as soon as the reports have been evaluated and accepted here. The related deliverables will be the following:

  • Guidance document for the standardised pre-analytic workflow
  • List or priorities for future isolation-based approaches of microbiota
  • Microbiome samples & dataset search services
  • White paper on ethical and regulatory aspects
  • Guiding principles for the use of microbiomes
